Rybeena (Adewale Atanda) is a Nigerian songwriter and musician with a Lagos’ birth. He had an early passion for music, and then studied Computer Science at The Polytechnic, Ibadan. According to his public artist’s bios, he earned a National Diploma prior to devoting his full attention to music.
Rybeena earned attention before it was a thing on Instagram by freestyling and covering songs. Another of the covers related to progressive rise of his career is that of “Time No Dey” song performed by Tobisneh with the participation of Zinoleesky and Mohbad.
It was that performance that got him noticed by listeners and industry members. He subsequently joined Tobisneh Records, and produced early tracks like “Nobody” (Harteez) and “Ayomide” (Diamond Jimma).
